Popular Virtual Machine Software


Well, Normally You can run only one operating system at a time. You can do dual booting but you cannot run both operating systems at the same time. Everyone wishes to run a different operating system at the same time. You can do this easily. You need to install virtual machines on your laptop or computers then you can run as many operating systems as you want as per the configuration of your computer. I'll give you a list of the best software which you can use to run your operating system virtually. You can use all virtual machine software on windows 10 also.

Why Virtual Operating System is Good:-

1. If you are a student you are doing some courses like Redhat, MCITP then you need a slave machine to check your servers then you can use a virtual operating system as your slave or secondary machine.
2. You can do some experiments and also do it for your excellence. You can do it easily.
3. You can use it to teach anyone if you are a tutor.
4. If you are practicing Ethical Hacking. I would suggest you always do experiments on virtual machines only don't do on your Primary Operating system.

6.  Hyper-V from Microsoft 
 (Virtual Machine for Windows 10)

You can use the Hyper-V feature of Windows 10. You can enable it either from Shell and command Prompt or You can enable it from Turn Windows Feature on or off. You should have Windows 10 Professional, Education, or Enterprise version. You cannot use it on Windows 10 Home version. 

Command to Enable it, Power Shell:- 

1. Please open the power shell (Run as Administrator)

Now enter the command:-

Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Hyper-V -All

Command to Enable it with CMD:-

1. Please open Command Prompt (Run as Administrator)

Now enter the command:- 

DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /All /FeatureName:Microsoft-Hyper-V


How to enable it from Control Panel:- 

1. Go to Control Panel 

2. Go to Program and Features
