How to use Your Android Mobile as an IP camera or webcam?


Today I will show you, How you can use your android mobile as an IP CCTV camera or webcam. Follow these Steps Below.

Webcamera or Wifi camera



 Note: This App will work only on the Same LAN Network. Your Mobile and Laptop must be on the same network.

1.  You need to download this App from Google Playstore IP Webcam.

2. After Installation open your Application now your app is ready to Work. Now you can access it from your web browser on your desktop and laptop. You can open with IPV4 and IPV6 Mentioned in.



3. After Accessing it in a Web browser you need to click on Play to check your video also You can change your screen mode as well.


I have found one more app on the Google play store. You use that to use your mobile camera as a webcam. This App support mostly used Chat Apps like Skype, Zoom, Microsoft teams. 


1. Download Droidcam App from the Google Play store. 

2. Now open Droid cam on your mobile. Before using Droid cam your laptop and mobile should be on the same wifi network. You will find the IP address in your app.

3. Now open the browser on your Laptop or pc. Enter the IP address shown in the Droidcam app. After connecting you can check it will show your phone camera. You can change your front or rear camera from Settings of App. 




4. If you want to use your mobile as a web camera in Skype, Microsoft Teams, Zoom then you need to download the Droidcam client from here.

Note: If you find video is not working good on Wifi. You can use a USB it will give you better results. 


5. After downloading you need to connect your mobile from Droidcam Client windows. For instance, you want to use your mobile camera as a Web camera in Skype. Open Skype Go to Settings ---> Audio and Video ----> Change camera. You will find the camera name start from Droidsource. Choose that Now your default camera will be your Mobile Camera. Note:- Droidcam client must be running to use your mobile camera as Web camera in Skype, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
